According to records, in two days,  Da Nang suddenly had heavy rain. At that, at the outlet discharge to the beaches of My Khe (Vo Nguyen Giap) was black with bad smell.

Meanwhile, as noted, some sewers sewage from the sewer to the sea carry a layer of black mud accumulates into two banks along the sand. Incineration of sewage and black stench into the sea also occurs along 5 sluice gates in My Khe beach, where US magazine Forbes honors “the most beautiful beach in the planet in 2013″.

According to Mr. Mai Ma – Director of the Danang Sewerage and Drainage Company, the reason is that some of the current locations still share a drainage system for rainwater and domestic water. Normally, if there is no rain, the water system will be collected to the waste water treatment station. Treated wastewater treatment will be discharged to the sea or to the river. However, when there is heavy rain, the amount of rainwater will flow into the wastewater treatment system located along the sea leading to overload and waste water spills out.
